Owner / CEO
Zachary Petrus
RPLS, EIT
Zach has over 15 years of land surveying experience in Boundary Resolution, ALTA/NSPS/TSPS Surveys, Commercial & Residential Development Surveys, O&G Asbuilt Surveys, Rezoning Surveys, and Utility Route Surveys. He has thorough knowledge of land planning and zoning regulations and strong skills in analyzing deed research, solving unique boundary conflicts, optimizing lotting calculations, and re-establishing street right-of-ways and easements.
Zach has overseen the successful completion of a wide variety of complex surveys spanning multiple states across the country. Zach is driven to provide services that surpass the expectations of all of his clients and always goes the extra mile to help advise his clients of any necessary and/or proper steps that might not have been considered previously to ensure that all of his client’s needs are properly met in a timely, professional, well-thought-out, and cost-effective manner.
As a Practice Builder and Survey Director at Kimley-Horn, Zach built up & led their extremely successful Central Texas Survey Division from scratch. After transferring to Austin with only two employees in May of 2020, he acted as a catalyst to 400% team growth for the company’s Survey Department while simultaneously running a highly profitable practice as a Senior Project Manager, boosting a million-dollar practice in 2021 into a multi-million dollar practice in 2022.

Robert Brown
Operations Manager
Since its founding, Robert has served as the Information Technology (IT) Director for Petrus & Associates. In this role, he's overseen all technology operations for the company, including software, hardware, databases, and telecommunications systems. Robert brings nearly a decade of experience providing IT support and consulting services to businesses across Central & South Texas.
Robert has over a decade of experience as an IT Analyst supporting healthcare organizations across Central Texas. As Information Technology Director, he leads Petrus & Associates' technology strategy and infrastructure. He developed a deep knowledge of technology needs within the healthcare industry and built a track record of effective problem-solving, project management, and customer service. Robert's breadth of technical expertise includes networking, data security, and strategic technology planning. Robert's industry experience and technical skills are invaluable assets that have supported the firm's growth.
As Information Technology Director, Robert is responsible for:
• Developing and implementing an IT strategic plan aligned with Petrus & Associates' business goals
• Managing technology infrastructure, including networking equipment, servers, and workstations
• Overseeing cybersecurity protocols and practices to protect client data
• Providing technical support for software, hardware, and other systems
• Researching and recommending new technologies to enhance productivity and business processes
• Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers

Tamia, our Chief Financial Officer, brings over 16 years of extensive experience in the field of public accounting and assurance services.
